Welcome to The Owl in the Oak

Nestled in the beautiful Somerset countryside, The Owl in the Oak is a unique place to gather, celebrate, learn, work and enjoy being together. While we are no longer a regular café, the doors are very much still open.

Our beautiful setting is now available for private and corporate hire, offering a relaxed and memorable alternative for meetings, team days, away days, private parties, celebrations and more. 

We’ll also be bringing The Owl to life throughout the year with a programme of events, workshops, seasonal gatherings, pop-up café days and bistro nights. We are fully licensed and can also offer buffets and lunches.  

We hope to bring you new events and experiences celebrating the seasons, history and traditions of this special place along with our ever popular wreath workshops and orchard days.

The Owl has always been about people as much as place. We’re delighted to be continuing that spirit in a way that allows us to look after the farm, the landscape and the community around us for years to come.
